Our service call fee includes drive-time and the first 1 hour of technical service. Additional time (Beyond the first hour) spent at the job-site are billed at $80 per hour.
The following are a few things that eat up time and add additional cost to a service call:
· Time delays (Time delays occur when our technician must wait for an area to be cleared to allow him access to the furnace.)
· Distance (A variable fee may apply if your location is outside of our normal operations area)
· Placement (The unit is in a location that makes it difficult to perform maintenance on it)
In cases where the unit is positioned at excessive heights (higher than 12 feet) we recommend that you rent a man lift from a local equipment rental facility and have it ready when our technician arrives. Alternately, we can tow our man-lift to your location which is quoted on a per-job basis.
We ask that you have the area around your furnace clean of debris and accessible to our technician when he arrives and allow him unobstructed access to it until he completes the job.
If uncommon replacement parts need to be ordered and the technician must pay another visit to the facility, our standard hourly rate applies.
