Traverse Beam with Kingpin Adapter, capacity 7200 kg / 16.000 lbs – ALI certified

Intended use:
Use the King-pin Adapter Beam with two Stertil-Koni mobile columns to lift the trailer with the adapter supporting the king-pin of the trailer. Support the other end of the trailer with either standard wheel-engaging mobile columns or a crossbeam.

Safety:
For some trailer models, a Traverse Beam with King-pin Adapter must be used. Due to the design of the suspensions of trailers, some models will move horizontally when the wheels are touching the ground again.
During this horizontal movement, it is possible that the Traverse Beam starts to tilt.

Tilting of the Traverse Beam is a potential hazardous situation.

Whether this situation will occur depends on the specific design of the trailer. To prevent this dangerous situation:
1. Always connect the (brake) air pressure to the trailer from an external source.
2. Make sure the brakes are released to allow rotation of the wheels while lifting and lowering.

The maximum capacity of the Traverse Beam with King-pin Adapter is 7200 kg / 16.000 lbs in the central pocket.
